Arrival at Panorama is heralded by a broad horizon view framed by a majestic reception bale set upon a reflection lake. This view is flanked by two banks of terraced apartments, between which a green axis connects with the recreation facilities below. The overriding theme behind the residential accommodation is the use of the natural slope to create apartments and studios which are nestled into and step down the hillside providing deep terraces at each level. The emphasis is on each apartment having an ocean view, high ceilings and window walls that can fold away to give totally new indoor/outdoor experience. The one bedroom and studio apartments are laid out over the steeper of the two escarpments and have an advantageous south-east aspect. Distribution is by escalator and access corridors to the rear. The two and three bedroom units are oriented due south and are terraced around the less steep shoulder with access being achieved through buggy stations at strategic locations. Between the two principal banks of apartments, the natural valley is used for the main axis and buggy route from the reception area down to the jungle oasis. The Jungle Oasis is the heart of Panorama. Making use of the natural amphitheater of the site this extensive recreation and entertainment area is conceived to be a flexible multipurpose arena day and night. Water is the main theme. Using the natural slope, a series of pools are connected by various water slides and flumes all terminating in the main leisure wave pool. Surrounding this main pool are the majority of the resorts restaurants and bars along with the fitness and health facilities. At night, all can be integrated to create a stunning performance arena. Hidden away in its own shallow valley, the Panorama Spa floats above its own reflection pool and is surrounded by deep jungle foliage. Natural plunge pools and waterfalls heighten the impression of a secret grotto dedicated to wellness and well-being. Panorama is selfcontained. Guests will find everything they need to make their holiday a success within the confines of the resort. It is a safe family environment. Electric buggies are the only mode of transport and environmental responsibility will be encouraged and rewarded. All efforts will be taken to create an outstanding example of a truly tropical jungle oasis. The overall specification for the resort is 5-star rated. The base interior finishes are a neutral tropical palette, comprised largely of locally-sourced Indonesian materials ....
